In December 2023, Author Candance Taylor hosted a heartwarming Book Reading with Santa event at Reprieve Spiritual Center. Families gathered for a joyful experience filled with storytelling, laughter, and holiday cheer. It's DEAF-initely My Life Stage Production
Meet Candance, the owner of TaylorMade Visual Productions. As a Sibling of a Deaf Adult (S.O.D.A.), Candance was immersed in the Deaf community from a young age. She later became a certified and licensed American Sign Language (ASL) interpreter, working in various settings for over 17 years. Now, drawing on her unique experiences, Candance is producing her first stage play, “It’s Deaf-initly My Life,” which is based on her self-titled children’s book January 18th, 2025 at Florissant Performing Arts Center.
2026 Book Signing Event fundraiser
On May 2, 2026, TaylorMade Visual Productions hosted a vibrant Book Signing Event of Author Candance Taylor's 2nd book titled "It's DEAF-initely My Life" Jody's New Deaf School that brought together families, supporters, and community members for a day of connection and celebration. Guests enjoyed meeting the author, receiving signed copies, and capturing special moments. The event reflected our mission of empowerment, literacy, and inclusion, highlighting the impact of storytelling within the Deaf, hard of hearing, and diverse youth communities.
